If you’re a bit of a stickler for spelling, you’re in luck.
The UAE authorities are offering up cash for anyone who spots spelling mistakes on signs.
All you’ve got to do is snap the spelling mistake with your phone and WhatsApp it to the necessary authorities.
However, there’s a catch…
The new initiative is only offered up in Ras Al Khaimah and the spelling mistakes must be made in Arabic.
Khaleej Times have said that 44 people have already taken part in the initiative, which has been employed to protect the Arabic language and correct spelling errors in the emirate.
The initiative will run until next week, and can be entered via sending your pictures to the RAK Department of Economic Development at (050) 432 1966.
