If you’re going full patriot this National Day, you’ll have to follow a few rules…
It’s a bit of a tradition for people in the UAE to kit their cars out in decals of the UAE flag and its leaders. However, it’s not technically allowed under UAE law.
The Abu Dhabi Police have instead issued a number of guidelines, allowing those who wish to flaunt their patriotic side a legal way to do it between November 22 and December 6.

What are the rules?
Changing the vehicle’s original colour, obscuring the license plates and adding noisy accessories are prohibited.
Covering up the windshield is prohibited.
Carrying more passengers than can fit is prohibited, as is sticking any body parts out of the car’s sunroof or windows.
