Meet the world’s first Arab female WWE superstar

For many, growing up to become a wrestling superstar was a dream.

For Shadia Bseiso, it’s about to become a reality.

The Jordanian national has been signed by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), making her the first Arab woman to have ever been given the opportunity.

Oh, and she packs a punch – with a background in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, as well as being a CrossFit enthusiast.

WWE hosted a talent tryout in Dubai earlier this year, with Shadia being selected from a group of 40 men and women.

“Working with WWE is an incredible opportunity. I look forward to starting on my path to becoming a WWE superstar,” Shadia mentioned.

Her training will begin at the WWE performance Center in Orlando, Florida this coming January.
