We get that it’s hot. So hot in fact that vehicles are literally bursting into flames. But two buildings in one week in the same area? Seriously?
Thankfully the Dubai Civil Defense were on hand to quickly contain the fire.
The Torch Tower in Dubai Marina went ablaze over the weekend, and it got a little out of hand…
Thankfully, there were no injuries, as the Dubai Civil Defense were on hand to contain the blaze.
The fire broke out at 1am on Friday morning, with two of Dubai’s top officials as some of the first on the scene.
Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police, Major General Abdullah Al Marri was on scene in a kandoura and baseball cap, alongside Major General Rashid Al Matrooshi, Director General of Dubai Civil Defense.
Merely an hour after the fire broke out, Dubai Civil Defense confirmed the completion of a full evacuation of Torch Tower, with zero missing, casualties or injuries reported.
The fire was extinguished at around 3am on the Friday morning.
Even pets of the residents were among those rescued, with one firefighter pictured carrying a surviving cat as he leaves the building.
